La Tagliatelle

I had to write a quick bit about tonight's dinner at La Tagliatelle. In summation, don't go there. Rather, go to Figo, or even Maggiano's. Perhaps even Olive Garden, because at least the service would be better. Never have I ever been to a restaurant where there server said "oh I'm sorry, I thought I brought you the check. I totally forgot about you." No tip was left and dessert was comped, but all the same, completely outrageous.
As far as the food goes, it was mostly unremarkable. Sofi had rigatoni with chorizo and I, butternut squash ravioli with mushroom sauce. Both were salty, and Sofi's pasta was not fresh, despite being advertised as such.
The d├ęcor of the restaurant was lovely, so there's a bit of a saving grace. Apart from that, however, just don't bother with La Tagliatelle. Figo is twice as good for half the price with better service.

On a positive note, Sofi and really enjoyed each others company, especially since we had so much time to talk!
